Community Guidelines
Last Updated: October 20, 2025
Shiraz is a community built on respect, honesty, and safety. These Guidelines explain expected conduct on our
platform and how we enforce it.
1. Core Principles
- Respect & Consent: Treat others as you wish to be treated. Seek and honor clear
consent.
- Honesty & Authenticity: Use your real age, identity, and recent photos. No
impersonation.
- Inclusion: Hate, discrimination, and harassment are prohibited.
- Safety First: Follow our Safety Tips. Report concerns
in-app.
2. Prohibited Content & Conduct
- Minors & Exploitation: Content involving minors (including sexualized content) is
strictly prohibited.
- Harassment & Hate: Bullying, threats, slurs, doxxing, and abusive behavior are not
allowed.
- Violence & Illegal Activity: Incitement of violence, threats, or illegal activity is
forbidden.
- Sexual Content: Explicit sexual content and nudity are not allowed.
- Scams & Spam: Financial scams, phishing, spam, and multi-level marketing are
prohibited.
- Commercial Sexual Services: Soliciting or offering sexual services is not permitted.
- Deceptive Practices: Catfishing, misrepresenting intentions, or manipulating others is
prohibited.
- Security Abuse: Scraping, reverse engineering, automated access, malware distribution,
or interfering with the service is forbidden.
- Location misuse: Do not attempt to identify, track, stalk, or harass anyone using radar
dots or inferred locations. Any attempt to de-obfuscate, correlate dots to real-world addresses, or
tracking across time is prohibited and may result in removal or a ban.
2.1. Child Safety & Sexual Exploitation (Zero Tolerance)
Shiraz is for adults 18+ only. We strictly prohibit any content or behavior that endangers children or sexualizes minors. This includes, without limitation:
- Any sexual content involving a minor, real or simulated; any content that sexualizes minors; “age-play” or fetish content depicting or pretending to depict minors; incest or “family role-play” involving minors.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, solicitation, enticement, trafficking, or attempts to obtain sexual images from someone reasonably believed to be under 18.
- Images or media that appear to depict minors, including AI-generated or manipulated content purporting to show minors.
- Sharing a child’s personally identifying information or encouraging others to identify or contact a child.
Enforcement: We remove such content, ban involved accounts, preserve evidence, and may report to law enforcement and, in the U.S., to the NCMEC CyberTipline. We also act on credible threats to child safety.
Awareness: Child sexual abuse can happen to any child and may be perpetrated by anyone, but it often occurs with someone the child knows and trusts. To raise awareness and help people understand the signs of abuse.
If you encounter content or behavior that may involve a minor, use the in-app report tools immediately. For emergencies or immediate danger, contact local authorities.
3. Your Responsibilities
- Use only your own account. Do not share accounts.
- Post only content you have the right to share and that complies with these Guidelines and the User Agreement.
- Use reporting and blocking tools to address concerns; do not retaliate or escalate conflicts.
- Comply with applicable laws wherever you use Shiraz.
3.1. Personal Information & Privacy
For your safety, never share private or identifying information—including your phone number, email address,
home or work address, place of employment, school, financial details, social media accounts, or any other
information that could reasonably identify you or another person—in your profile, photos, or messages.
Shiraz is designed to help you connect safely without exchanging personal contact or location details.
Sharing or requesting such information may lead to account restriction or removal.
4. Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations. Factors may include
severity, frequency, intent, and risk to community safety. For serious violations (e.g., child safety,
credible threats), we may contact law enforcement.
If your account is restricted, you may receive notice. In some cases you may appeal; availability of appeals
may vary by region and severity.
5. Reporting
Use in-app report tools to flag content or accounts. Provide as much detail as possible (including
screenshots where appropriate). For urgent threats, contact local authorities immediately.
For additional assistance, you may email support@shirazdate.com.
This email is not a substitute for emergency services.
6. Updates
We may update these Guidelines to address emerging issues. Material changes will be noted by updating the
“Last Updated” date.
